Dark night of the soul.Sparklehorse's Mark Linkous has committed suicide.
I don't know how many of you listened to his tunes, but he made some great ones.
He's been working on an epic album with Danger Mouse, David Lynch, and numerous other musicians. Pretty sad day, another great artist gone.

"the dark night of the soul" is actually a religious term talking about a time in ones life where a person feels complete absence from God, where one once felt God's presence. Its really intense. I have wondered why they chose the name for the album.
