Wedding
So last weekend I went down to the finger lakes to go to Morgan and Glen's wedding. It was definitely really cool, and I'm so happy for them. I also did the photography with J parr which was real sweet. I can't really post any pictures that I took from the wedding (though I am very happy with them), but I put up a few that I took while I was down there.
The wedding was near Keuka Lake in the Finger Lakes and the area was beautiful, and it was really fun just hanging out near there. Plus to see the amazing friends that I haven't seen in forever, was awesome. Anyways, everyone go to weddings, they're real fun!! haha
Oh, and this tree, looks a lot higher off the ground at 4am, haha...
It aint the best pic in the world, lol, but its a dang good memory..

MUSIC

Ok, so I can't stop listening to Cloud Cult's new album. I never really listened to them before, but the new album is so awesome. Sometimes they almost sound like an american Arcade Fire with a folky sound; maybe a hint of Bright Eyes and Rock Plaza Central in there as well. Anyways, you totally need to give them a lesson, so here's two of my favorite songs off their new album, Feel Good Ghosts. Enjoy!!

The Road...
Ok... so I just finished reading this book. It's like an elegant introspective approach to the post-apocalyptic novel. McCarthy weaves his words together with such beauty and reality, that we as readers can not help to feel the loneliness, fear, and desperation of the characters; while having hope that some hope yet remains.
Haha ok, I sound WAY too formal there, that makes it so much less fun. Just take my word for it. McCarthy (most would know him for penning No Country For Old Men) creates a great story that really makes you think about life differently.
Oh, this too...
Ok, so I found this ridiculous video of spinning plates from our show... had to post it..
yeah... it was an amazing show... and I just got tickets to see them in Cleveland! I'm pretty excited, not gonna lie..
Ok, so I'm thinking that's all the catch up I'm gonna do, from now on stuff will most likely be current unless stated otherwise. Hope you're all having a good day! Oh and everyone should go see radiohead, like ya know.. now! lol
RADIOHEAD!!!!!
That night(5/10) we saw kanye. Good times for sure.

There's joe chillin on the bumper watching/hiding from the torrential downpour. Lol, made it an adventure for sure.
Next day(5/11), we woke up (after sleeping in the car, and being kicked out of one area.. cuz we were creating such a havoc.. sleeping in the car.. whatever..) realized we had some time to kill before Radiohead, and went to see Ironman. Nothing's gonna be Batman Begins or The Crow if we are looking for the amazing comic book film, but it was pretty good nonetheless.
After the movie, we decided to head out to the Pavilion to pregame before the show. So, we got our drinks, food etc. plus a great array of games to play (it was already starting to rain pretty good, so we figured sitting outside, playing pong etc. was out of the question. Little did we know how the rain was going to continue..) I'm thinking the best outcome of this tho, was making a drinking game out of Monopoly (spanish edition of course.. lol)
Unfortunately, I couldn't bring my camera into either of the shows, but I got some pics of our time hanging in the car before radiohead; oh, and I snagged a pic of the band from flickr (def wasn't that close to radiohead lol).
Yeah... so as you can prolly tell, it was POURing, by the end of the night I saw people wading through puddles almost to their knees. Ha it was nuts, oh and pretty cold too, but totally worth it..
Oh, and my stolen pic of radiohead below\/
VA!! cont...
After this break, it was on to D.C. Joe and I were exHAUSTed, but we zombied around the hear of our political system nonetheless. We def had fun, took some pics of how small the W. Monument is, of Joe in those annoying foreign chicks' photos, etc. But our adventruing couldn't last long, def decided to take a nap (three hour turned out, in the middle of D.C. tourism area) before we bounced out to see Kanye at the Nissan Pavilian...
VA!!
So last weekend (May 9-12), my friend Joe and I travelled down to the D.C. We took his Mountaineer which was of course a million dollars of gas, but hey, it was a hotel too, so it's all good.
Anyways, I wasn't able to get out of work on friday till 11 and after shower, pack drive the hour and a half to his house, etc. I didn't meet up with Joe to begin our trip until the wee morning (I'm thinking we left Rochester, NY at about 2am if I remember correctly). Well, because of that we didn't roll into dc until about 10 or 11am, but it was a good drive nonetheless. Awake to see the sunset, we decided to stop and take a few pics. Not as good as they could have been, here's a few that we took during the morning light...
birth
So basically, I've never created a blog before, but I decided the time was right to create (ha, basically school ended for the year, and I got time while I'm hanging out in my house for the summer). Soooo, this is my first effort, should be fun..
Lately I've been thinking about what type of blog i wanted to create (when i finally got around to it); a design
blog (my major), music blog (a favorite pastime), photography (another great pastime), etc. But I totally couldn't decide. So i decided to leave it completely open ended, a new band i found one day, a great picture I took the next, or maybe a great film I stumbled upon the day after that. Because of this, my blog might seem a bit scattered at the beginning but I hope as I learn how to best post, I will be able to organize everything is a productive manner. Here goes.. lol

Oh, and since I just got back from VA for a few shows, I figured I'd backtrack a few days before I started posting about the dailies.
