Road

Is anyone else super excited for, though kinda annoyed that this movie is like never coming out?? The book was amazing, and I really think the film could parallel the intensity and perfection of it. There isn't even a trailer yet... Lol, I'm getting impatient!! Guess till then we'll have to see some other good stuff.

Soo, The Arcade Fire, Grizzly bear, Iron & Wine, and a bunch of other really good indie artists are coming out with a cd in February that will benefit the Red Hot Organization, a charity dedicated to raising funds and awareness for HIV and AIDS. The double-disc album Dark Was the Night, will feature 32 new songs from these artists. Check out the article here, and I'll keep ya posted as we get closer to the release date. Should be a really cool album.

Till it comes out, I guess we'll just have to listen to some great songs from these artist's preious albums.

Lol, so i'm still in the design lab. i count this post as somewhat of a break. Ha, i've been here since 1 today (its midnight). Buuuuut, i've been getting some good work done, so its awesome. lol, i think i've spent like 30 or more hours here so far this weekend. Soooo, awesome tho, i finally feel like my work is decent (no bs hand-ins i hope lol). Or, at least a good start, that'll be revised over break for review next sem. So... i guess i could post something right? Well here's version like 38 (no joke lol) of a logo for a record company that I made for my Visual Communications class. Perhaps it needs to go a lot farther, but its a good start. I'm happy-ish with it.

Ok, so i just spent way too much time tying to put some work in. i no longer care. Lol, i'll put some stuff up later, once i get THROUGH finals haha. Ok, i'm off, see yas.

School

Ok soooo.... such a weird thing has been presented at my school. In the midst of my confusion over what to do based on upcoming circumstances (here's a summary: i am taking a portfolio review next sem to let me into the design major at b state, if i fail i can't grad with this major, from here at least; so me and a friend are applying at a few school in nyc that we visited and really liked; my friend didn't get in and she's real good, unfortunately the review is a biased and favoritism focused experience so i don't know if i'm gonna pass next sem), i noticed that with all my credits and everything, i can graduate this coming spring if i change my major again. i'd change it to a kind of liberal arts (FA though) major and then i'd have a degree. but i want to be a designer so... what do i do?

The way that this could really work out tho, is say for instance, i don't make it into the major here, i can just get a degree, and then spend about 2 years (same time as before) finishing a 2nd degree (in graphic design). Maybe Purchase outside nyc. Or, maybe in london? Or maybe I could go to the Chicago Portfolio School to put together a bomb portfolio... The world is open to me. What do i do? I wait to see what schools do what.. and then I achieve...

So ummmmm, is it sorta bad that I kinda maybe downloaded a new application to uhhh help me with my hw?? lol. i can't believe i did it, but i did. Once again... AAO is a part of my life...

Don't worry tho, i left it at home and am doing my design work at school. But once break starts... ooooh man.... ha

It's Christmas Time!... errr, kinda...

So... since thanksgiving is gone and past... (way to not post a blog about tday moron; 'yes, i talk to myself on my blog, lol) i can start listening to christmas music right?? good, i thought so too. i can finally bust out Sufjan christmas without feeling like a total weirdo. me adoro navidad.
